Polarity
Verdict: More, please?
In a Nutshell: Polarity is a short, concept proving side-scroller with an, ahem, “attractive” twist.
“Polarity is a 2D platforming/puzzle game based on the concept of magnetic forces.
The goal of the game is to navigate environments and solve puzzles by using your suit’s magnetic properties in interesting ways. you cna attract to and repel from objects, instantly switch magnetic polarity, or even boost the strength of your magnetic field for added abilities”

What the game gets right

Helpful tips provided along the way make it easy to understand the magnetic aspect of the gameplay.
What the game gets wrong
Understanding that Poloarity was developed for a college course, here’s my wish list for things to add:
- more levels with higher complexity to the puzzles
- add in some bad guys
- and tell me a fantastic story I can be a part of
Sum it up
Polarity is what I think Megaman should have evolved to. There’s a lot of potential here and I’m really hoping they keep at it.
